Hepatitis B five items include Hepatitis B surface antigen HBsAg, Hepatitis B surface antibody HBsAb, e antigen HBeAg, e antibody HBeAb, Hepatitis B core antibody HBcAb.
1. Only hepatitis B core antibody is positive, indicating previous infection with hepatitis B virus or asymptomatic hepatitis B virus carrier.
2. Positive hepatitis B core antibody and eAb indicate previous hepatitis B infection or recovery from acute hepatitis B virus infection.
3. Positive hepatitis B core antibody, e antibody and hepatitis B surface antibody indicate recovery from acute hepatitis B infection.
4. Positive Hepatitis B Core Antibody and Hepatitis B Surface Antigen indicates acute Hepatitis B virus infection or chronic Hepatitis B surface antigen carrier.
5. Positive Hepatitis B core antibody and Hepatitis B surface antibody indicates previous infection but still immune or recovery from Hepatitis B virus infection.
6. Positive Hepatitis B core antibody, e antibody and Hepatitis B surface antigen, i.e., minor triple positive, indicates that the acute infection of Hepatitis B tends to recover or chronic Hepatitis B surface antigen carriers.
7. Positive hepatitis B core antibody, hepatitis B surface antigen and e antigen, i.e. triple positive, indicating acute and chronic hepatitis B infection, HBV replication and strong transmission.
