What is basal ganglia lacunar infarction

Basal ganglia lacunar infarcts are small infarcts that occur deep in the base of the brain or deep in the brain, and are blockages of some microvessels and small blood vessels. The clinical manifestations are relatively mild, most may have mild dizziness or headache, or mild limb numbness. However, a few people can have more severe manifestations, such as paralysis or speech disorders or aphasia, and a few people have more severe manifestations. The prognosis is relatively good, but it has to be treated aggressively, and again has to be treated according to cerebral infarction. If there is no control and active treatment, it is easy to recur, because the recurrence rate of cerebral infarction is relatively high, although the symptoms are relatively mild, it still needs active treatment.
