Cancer patients consume more and are prone to severe malnutrition in the late stage, which requires nutritional fluid treatment. It is possible to last longer, such as three months to six months or more, if the nutritional fluid is administered. If the patient cannot eat at all, it is definitely not possible to rely only on nutrient solution for support, because multiple organ failure may occur in the late stage, and even if nutrient solution is administered, there is a possibility of poor nutrient absorption. If the blood vessels collapse in the late stage, nutrient solution cannot enter the body, a deep vein catheter needs to be placed in advance for intravenous nutrient support in the late stage, or an enteral nutrient tube can be placed for enteral nutrient support. There is no good treatment for advanced cancer patients, but to try to relieve pain and give symptomatic treatment such as nutritional support to prolong survival, and to observe while treatment.
