Since MRI uses the nuclei of hydrogen atoms in the body to move under the action of an applied magnetic field, it is a form of imaging. Therefore, there is no radiation to the human body, and so far, no side effects of MRI on the human body have been reported in the world. However, because the MRI examination space is relatively confined, patients are likely to have fear during the examination, which will make their heart rate accelerate, but it is short-lived and will generally be relieved after the examination. In addition, MRI is noisy during the examination, some patients may experience ear discomfort, which will disappear some time after the examination, and individual patients who are more sensitive can use ear plugs to cover their ears before the examination.
