How to treat a protruding anus

Internal hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, and anal papilloma are lesions that can cause the anal area to bulge outward. If the anal area is protruding outward due to the prolapsed nucleus of the internal hemorrhoid, the treatment can be cleaned with potassium permanganate lotion or saline for milder symptoms. The common hemorrhoid suppositories include Ma Yinglong hemorrhoid suppositories or Analtech hemorrhoid suppositories. For more severe symptoms including internal hemorrhoids stage III and IV, they should be treated by surgical excision. The common surgical procedure is proctoscopic surgery, in which the nucleus of the hemorrhoid is peeled off under visualization. In mild cases, the prolapsed rectum can be retracted by hand, but long-term prolapsed rectum should be treated by laparoscopic surgery, where the prolapsed rectum is retracted and fixed by visualization. In the case of anal papilloma, surgical removal is required.
