Most tendon injuries in the foot are caused by direct or indirect external forces. After a patient suffers from foot tendon injury, the treatment should be clear about the degree of tendon injury and the patient’s clinical manifestations, and different treatment methods should be adopted. If the patient has a partial injury of the tendon of the foot, there is localized swelling and pain, but the patient’s functional activities of the toes are normal. Conservative treatment can be adopted, local braking can be given and the affected limb can be elevated. The injured part can be smoked with traditional Chinese medicine, or applying ointment that activates blood circulation and removes blood stasis, reduces swelling and relieves pain, as well as adopting acupuncture and moxibustion, all of which can make the injured tendon tissues recover as soon as possible. If the patient has a complete rupture of the tendon in the foot, and the patient has impaired functional movement of the toes, surgical treatment is needed in this case, and incision and exploration and tendon repair should be carried out under anesthesia.
