Methods Seventeen patients with gouty arthritis of the knee joint were selected and underwent knee arthroscopic joint cleaning and synovectomy, and were routinely given blood-uric acid-lowering drugs and early functional exercises after the operation. Results All patients were followed up for 6 months-24 months, with a mean of 13.2 months, and there were no cases with obvious recurrence at the last postoperative follow-up. According to the Lysholm knee scoring method, preoperative patients’ functional scores averaged 43.2 points; postoperative 6-month review scores averaged 87.4 points,; the difference between preoperative and postoperative 6-month Lyshol scoring scores was statistically significant when compared to the preoperative and postoperative 6-month Lyshol scoring scores (P
