Epilepsy can’t stop a child from having a bright future

Today, a child’s father came to prescribe medication and reported his good news to me, the child got into the finance department of Renmin University, I am really happy for him and congratulate him from the bottom of my heart, however, the father said with slight regret that the child did not play well this time, he could have gone to Tsinghua, I really can not believe it. I really didn’t expect this child to be so good, he had surgery here 6 years ago, when he was still in 6th grade, after the surgery the seizures were gone, the family was very happy, I didn’t expect to be so competitive and get into such a good school, it’s really not easy, I’m really happy for the family. I hope that this good news will give all children with epilepsy and their families encouragement and hope that epilepsy is not scary, that we can not only beat it, but that these children have a bright future as well. History is full of great men and women with epilepsy who have gone on to do great things. Napoleon, who was small in stature and had epilepsy, was able to lead France across Europe; Van Gogh, the painter who left many masterpieces, was said to have epilepsy; Julius Caesar, who built an empire that spanned Europe, Asia and Africa, had epileptic seizures according to historical records; Ronaldo, who won three World Football Awards, two World Cups and was the World Cup’s all-time leading scorer, was also plagued by epileptic seizures. Epilepsy, although it can bring certain physical and mental effects to people, but you can’t be presumptuous or lose confidence in the future because of it. There are always bumps and bruises on the road of life, so don’t feel that God is unfair to you and blame God, everyone will always encounter their own disease or difficulties; don’t feel that the future is lost with epilepsy, and you will be discouraged and depressed. We believe that you will be able to overcome all the difficulties and achieve the same or even more success than normal people.
