Can Damp-Heat Body Drink Ginger-Jujube Tea?

Ginger-jujube tea is not recommended for damp-heat constitutions to avoid aggravating internal heat. People with damp-heat constitution should seek medical advice and follow the doctor’s instructions for proper regulation.
People with damp-heat constitution are mostly characterized by thirst, heavy limbs (limb weakness and heaviness), yellow urine, sticky stools with burning sensation, and are advised to have a light diet. Ginger is warm, easy to help generate fire evil and injury to the yin and fluid; and jujube taste sweet, easy to help dampness and heat. Although the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine tea is limited, it is not recommended that people with dampness and heat drink ginger and jujube tea.
