Lymph node inflammation can have both localized and systemic symptoms. Local symptoms of lymph node inflammation include enlargement, pain and tenderness of the lymph nodes, which can be felt as large bulges when touched with the hand, and significant pressure pain when pressed. Systemic symptoms may include fever, generalized muscle pain, and weakness, but depending on the specific cause of lymph node inflammation, there may also be corresponding manifestations, such as excessive sweating if the lymph node inflammation is caused by tuberculosis infection, and there may also be manifestations of tuberculosis in other areas, such as pulmonary tuberculosis.
