Interventional treatment of liver nodules is a minimally invasive treatment, and the effectiveness of the treatment depends on the size of the nodule. In general, if malignancy is not ruled out and the nodule is located in a large vessel or in the middle liver, it is not suitable for surgery, so interventional treatment can be performed. In principle, the smaller the liver nodule, the better the treatment effect, but of course, it needs to be combined with imaging review to clarify the development of the lesion. Nowadays, the treatment of liver nodules includes surgical minimally invasive interventions and radiofrequency ablation, all of which can achieve good results when the nodules are small in the early stage, so it is difficult to judge who wins and who is superior. Therefore, interventional treatment of liver nodules can achieve very good results as long as they are handled properly, which is the case for very small liver nodules, usually around two centimeters. If the liver nodule is too large, it is better to choose puncture biopsy and surgery after clear diagnosis.
