If the bleeding is normal, you can wait for the natural bleeding to stop. If it is abnormal uterine bleeding, you should go to the hospital for examination and actively identify the cause of the bleeding. A gynecological examination can be performed to find out the source of the bleeding, whether it is caused by the cervix or the uterine cavity, or an ultrasound examination can be performed to find out the condition of the endometrium and adnexa, whether the bleeding is caused by endometrial hyperplasia, submucosal fibroids or endometrial polyps. A hormone level test can also be performed to find out if the abnormal uterine bleeding is caused by disorders of ovarian hormone levels.
