Could a vague pain in the back of the head be brain cancer?

The vague pain at the back of the head may not necessarily be brain cancer, but may be caused by a variety of factors, which need to be diagnosed after perfecting relevant examinations. The vague pain at the back of the head may be caused by cervical spondylosis, which is caused by contraction and spasm of neck and shoulder muscles, thus involving the nerves and blood vessels of the scalp, and the pain is mostly persistent, accompanied by soreness and discomfort of neck and shoulder muscles. If the patient has hypertension, this condition may also occur when the blood pressure is elevated. In addition, tension headache is a primary headache disorder that is usually characterized by bilateral swelling, aching, and dull pain in the back of the head, top of the head, and frontotemporal region, which can last from a few days to several years and requires symptomatic treatment. In addition to the above, patients should also exclude intracranial organic lesions, such as cranial tumor, which is usually called brain cancer, which may be accompanied by headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms in addition to vague pain in the back of the brain. When the above symptoms appear, patients should consult the neurology department of the hospital for clear diagnosis and choose the appropriate treatment under the guidance of the doctor to obtain the best treatment effect.
