Tibetan Sanghuang is Sanghuang originating from Tibet. This product should be taken as an internal decoction or into pills or powder.
Sanghuang is the dried substrate of Lonicera japonica, a fungus of the family Polyporaceae. It is effective in activating blood circulation, stopping bleeding, softening and dispersing hard lumps, harmonizing the stomach and stopping diarrhea.
Sanghuang is useful in treating obstruction in the abdomen (tangible or intangible lumps in the abdomen with distension and pain), scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of the lymph nodes in the neck), and damp-heat diarrhea (diarrhea caused by sensing damp-heat evil). The adverse reactions, contraindications and precautions of this product are not yet clear.
If there is a need for medication, it should be used under the guidance of a Chinese doctor to identify the evidence, and should not be used blindly on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
