The Difference Between a Dandelion and a Celestial Fairy

The difference between dandelion and Tian Xian Zi is the different taste and attribution, efficacy, main treatment, etc., you need to follow the doctor’s instructions for medication.
1. Different taste and attribution: dandelion taste bitter, sweet, cold, attributed to the liver meridian, stomach meridian. Tian Xian Zi is bitter, pungent and warm in nature; it belongs to the stomach, liver and heart meridians and is highly toxic.

3. Indications: Dandelion is used for furuncle and poison, lung carbuncle, intestinal carbuncle (carbuncle occurring in the intestinal organs, manifested by fever, pain in the right abdomen, and palpable lump), breast carbuncle (redness, swelling and pain in the breasts and poor discharge of milk, and ultimately purulent disease), scrofula (tuberculosis of lymph nodes of the neck), redness of the eyes, sore throat, hot lymphatic astringency and jaundice of damp-heat.
Tian Xian Zi is used for wheezing and coughing, gastric contracture and epilepsy.
Tien Hsien Zi is toxic and should not be taken in excess. Tien Hsien Zi is contraindicated in people with tachycardia, heart disease, glaucoma, and pregnant women. Dandelion adverse reactions are not clear, non-solid heat syndrome should be used with caution.
