How to see the normal reference value of semen test?

In clinical practice, we find that people still do not understand the semen test results correctly, and although most of the reports have a control reference value underneath, they still hold the report and do not know how to read it. In fact, although the results of the examination report are important, the examination process is also very critical, that is, the examination must be carried out in accordance with the steps required by WHO for the report to be informative, and it is not possible to make correct results with an automatic sperm analyzer, so we must go to a regular infertility center for treatment. In addition, not every indicator is equally important in every test report, and some indicators are not necessary to be in the normal range side. The following are the normal reference values of semen. Color: homogeneous, off-white, may be light yellow if no sperm discharge for a long time; Total volume: 2ml or more; PH: 7.2 or higher Sperm density: 20×106 sperm/ml or more Total sperm count: 40×106 sperm/one ejaculation or more Liquefaction time < 1h, usually within 15 minutes Survival rate ≥50% or more, i.e. not stained Viability Fast forward motion (grade a) ≥25% or forward forward motion (class a+b) ≥ 50% morphology ≥ 14% normal sperm morphology
