How to do a CT of the small intestine

Small bowel CT examination is a commonly used clinical examination method. We require fasting 4-6 hours before the examination, then drink 300-500mL of water half an hour before the examination. During the examination, the patient lies flat on the examination bed, remove the metal objects from the body, then keep the hands on both sides of the body, the patient is in a supine position, breathes calmly, and then maintains a stable state, and the patient still needs to remain quiet, stable and breathe calmly during the scan. If it is an enhanced examination, drink plenty of water or plain water after the examination to allow the contrast agent to be excreted.
