CT examination of the small intestine is not painful because the small intestine is more difficult to examine in imaging, it is very long, very tortuous and very thin in the deep abdominal cavity, so small intestinal lesions are sometimes difficult to detect for imaging. CT imaging of the small intestine is a better way to fill up the small intestine with water as a contrast agent by making the patient drink a lot of water. In the duct-like structure, if there is a tumor-like lesion, it is easier to detect after contrast enhancement. However, in some patients, because the intestine has a physiological diastolic process, in order to reduce peristalsis and diastolic, some drugs to relax the intestine, such as 654-2, are sometimes given before the examination, but they should be applied appropriately according to the patient’s condition.
