The location of the appendix on CT is usually located in the right lower abdomen, at the external and external 1/3 points of the line between the umbilicus and the anterior superior iliac spine. The first point is that if appendicitis is combined with appendicitis, there is often a locally enlarged appendix, which shows an enlarged appendix with localized exudate on CT. Second point, if appendicitis is combined with fecal stone, it can be shown on CT as a denser nodule in the appendix with an enlarged appendix and local inflammatory exudate. The third point is that if the appendix is perforated and confined peritonitis, it may show more exudate around the appendix and a large amount of fluid in the pelvic cavity on CT, as well as calcification of stones around the appendix, which requires surgical treatment.
