Hypercalcemia mainly refers to the total serum calcium which is greater than the upper limit of normal straight i.e. it is called hypercalcemia. Total serum calcium, including non-diffusible and ionized calcium. The current reference standard is related to the numerical determination of the machine. Traditionally, a level higher than 2.58 mmol/l is called hypercalcemia. Hypercalcemia is an electrolyte disorder. The main causes are 1. Increased intake of calcium, a large amount of food containing high calcium may cause an increase in blood calcium. 2. 2.Primary hyperparathyroidism, metabolic disorders easily caused by elevated blood calcium. 3.Taking too much vitamin D makes the intestines and kidneys absorb more calcium. 4.Some tumors or bone diseases make the corresponding osteolysis increase and cause the blood calcium increase. 5.Long-term braking due to wasteful atrophy or some fixation measures may cause bone decalcification and cause elevated blood calcium. If the treatment of hypercalcemia is mild, the situation will gradually improve after dietary control and limiting calcium intake. Some diuretics can also be used to promote calcium excretion. If the hypercalcemia is caused by some primary diseases, it is necessary to treat the primary disease in time, and some of them need surgery to achieve the effect of cure.
