What to do about tiny inflammatory nodules in the lungs

Tiny inflammatory nodules in the lungs need to be actively treated with anti-infection therapy, and usually the inflammatory nodules can shrink or even disappear. Some of the pneumonia caused by bacterial infection will be manifested in the form of lung nodules, accompanied by symptoms of pneumonia, such as fever, cough, sputum and so on. For these patients, anti-infection treatment is usually needed for about two weeks, and when the symptoms disappear completely, the nodules in the lungs will also shrink or disappear accordingly. However, it will take some time for the nodules to disappear, so you can repeat the chest CT examination about 1~2 months after the healing process to observe the changes of the nodules. If the nodule shrinks or becomes lighter in density, it means that the nodule is an inflammatory nodule and the anti-infective treatment is effective, so the possibility of malignant nodules can be ruled out.
