General life expectancy of brain hemorrhage

Cerebral hemorrhage is currently the main fatal disease in China, mainly in patients in the acute stage, and it is related to the patient’s age, the site of bleeding, and the amount of bleeding. Acute cerebral hemorrhage is generally rarely life-threatening after the condition is stabilized by treatment. In mild cases of cerebral hemorrhage, there are only symptoms such as distorted mouth and tongue, hemiplegia and unfavorable speech, which usually do not directly affect life expectancy, but if there are sequelae, the quality of life will be lower than before, and there is no risk of life as long as preventive treatment is adhered to without recurrence. If the brain hemorrhage is severe, the bleeding volume is large or there is an aneurysm and other indications for surgery, timely surgery should be performed. In addition, cerebral hemorrhage itself does not necessarily lead directly to the death of the patient. Complications after cerebral hemorrhage and hemorrhage surgery, such as lung infection, high fever, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc., may lead to life-threatening conditions, especially in patients who are bedridden for a long time, lung infection, decubitus ulcers and other diseases are the main factors leading to death, so comprehensive treatment and care of patients with severe cerebral hemorrhage is very important and is the key to reducing death. Therefore, cerebral hemorrhage is not a terminal disease, and most of the mildly ill patients and most of the severely ill patients can be stabilized by timely medical consultation and appropriate treatment. If preventive treatment is adhered to, it is possible to live a long life without affecting life expectancy.
