How to treat anterior uveitis

Anterior uveitis has a superficial location and is treated as follows: 1. Using ocular surface treatment, i.e., conventional spot eye drops treatment, for anterior uveitis, can be simply by spot eye drops, such as spot hormonal eye drops, non-steroidal eye drops, most patients can get effective relief; 2. If the patient’s uveitis is heavy, it can also be controlled by subconjunctival or bulb-side injections of the hormone dexamethasone medication; 3. , for patients with anterior uveitis, the pupil should also be concerned. The use of pupil-dilating drugs to move the pupil is important for the treatment of anterior uveitis. If the pupil is not moved, post-iris adhesions may occur leading to pupillary atresia. Therefore, for treatment, depending on the severity of the disease, the eye should be controlled by eye spotting or even drug injection.
