For patients with simple gastroscopy: water can be consumed 1h after gastroscopy, and those who have no obvious discomfort after drinking water can eat fluids after 2h. Normal diet can be resumed at the next meal. Generally, normal life can be resumed on the 2nd day. 2. For patients undergoing histological biopsy under gastroscopy: water can be consumed 4h after gastroscopy, and if there is no discomfort after drinking water, food can be consumed, and liquid or semi-liquid food is preferred, and normal diet can be resumed on the 2nd day. 3. Patients who are treated under gastroscopy: if the stomach polyp is removed under gastroscopy, it usually takes 24h before drinking water, and after 48h, you can eat fluids, and normal eating can be resumed about 3 days after the operation.
