Surgery for cervical spinal stenosis is usually divided into three types: anterior surgery, posterior surgery, and combined anterior and posterior surgery. There are various methods of anterior surgery, in most cases, the herniated discs of the 1st and 2nd vertebrae lead to anterior compression, and the discs are removed or the vertebral bodies are removed together, i.e., the vertebral bodies are sub-totaled, filled with artificial materials, and then fixed with titanium plates to relieve the anterior compression. Posterior surgery is divided into two cases, the first is called miniature titanium plate single-opening spinal canal enlargement surgery, the use of rotation and enlargement so that the anterior and posterior diameters are expanded, the second method, that is, the general arch nail or lateral block screw fixation after the entire back of the vertebral plate all removed and fixed with a nail rod system.
