Stage 3 gastric sinus cancer is staged according to the international TMN staging standard, and is generally divided into 4 stages.
Gastric sinus cancer stage 3 refers to the tumor infiltrating the muscular layer or plasma membrane layer with lymph node metastasis 3cm from the primary lesion, or the tumor penetrating the plasma membrane layer with lymph node metastasis 3cm from the primary lesion.
When gastric sinus cancer stage 3 is diagnosed, patients may have symptoms such as abdominal pain, weight loss and emaciation, etc. Surgical resection such as major gastrectomy is often carried out and supplemented with chemotherapy, gastric sinus cancer stage 3 belongs to the advanced stage of gastric sinus cancer and has poor prognosis.
For patients diagnosed with gastric sinus cancer, they should go to the hospital for further examination in time and under the guidance of professional doctors for active treatment. Usually, radical gastrectomy with lymph node dissection is performed, followed by chemotherapy and regular review.
