Does menopause last a lifetime?

Most people can go through menopause in 2~3 years, while a small number of people may have it for the rest of their lives. Menopause is a transitional period in which the body’s physiological functions go from maturity to gradual decline, from middle age to old age, around 45~55 years old for women and 55~65 years old for men. It takes most people about 2-3 years to get through this special period, while a small number of people need 5-10 years or even a lifetime. Keep a good attitude, face menopause bravely and positively, don’t run away, take part in outdoor activities as appropriate to enrich your life, and consciously try to control your emotions. If the symptoms are more serious or you feel unwell, it is recommended to go to the hospital and follow the professional doctor’s advice.
