The difference between colon tumor and colon cancer is as follows: 1. Colon tumor, clinically usually benign tumors, such as neuroendocrine tumors, familial colon polyposis, can be cured by surgery and microscopic treatment; 2. Colon cancer, with clear malignant characteristics, low malignant patients can obtain long-term survival through surgery as well as postoperative adjuvant treatment. For advanced colon cancer patients, although radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy can be performed after surgery, the prognosis is very poor and the five-year survival rate is about 10%.
