Examination refers to the doctor’s examination on the surface of the patient’s body, mainly by checking whether there is pressure pain or other abnormal sensation in the local area or part of the limb, and judging whether the organs in that area are suffering from diseases, which has a certain degree of guidance for conducting laboratory tests. If there is cirrhosis that tends to cause ascites, the doctor can determine whether there is tissue fluid exuding from the abdominal cavity and how much tissue fluid is present by performing an abdominal examination. The degree of cirrhosis can also be assessed by slowly pushing upward at the lower edge of the right rib cage, during which the patient may experience severe pain, indicating the presence of cirrhosis and the need for further laboratory tests or imaging examinations as an aid to diagnosis. Therefore, clinical examination is the first step in determining the disease.
