What is the function of the brain?

The functions of the brain are to manage the body’s movement, sensation, language, logical thinking, to receive feedback from hearing, vision, touch, smell and to maintain vital signs. The anterior central gyrus of the brain manages the body’s random movements; the posterior central gyrus is related to the sensation of the opposite hemisphere; the temporal lobe is related to hearing and memory; the left and right hemispheres are connected by nerve fibers; the occipital lobe is the visual center; the parietal lobe is related to pain and pressure sensation; the cerebellum is responsible for ataxia; and the brainstem maintains the stability of vital signs. The brain has a complex structure and a wide range of functions. Any injury to any part of the brain will result in corresponding clinical symptoms, and the nerve cells are permanent and cannot be recovered, so brain injury should be avoided as much as possible.
