Symptoms of spinal cone injury

Patients with a spinal cord cone injury may exhibit the following symptoms: i. Paralysis of the lower extremities may occur. Patients who develop a spinal cord cone injury may have symptoms of paralysis below the lumbar region. The paralysis manifests as delayed paralysis, which means that the patient has muscle weakness below the waist and the muscle tone becomes very low. When the lower limbs are moved passively, they will feel that they become very soft. Second, it may lead to a series of sensory disorders in the patient. If there is a complete injury of the spinal cone, it may lead to a complete loss of sensation in the area below the waist. If there is an incomplete injury, there may be numbness and even pain in the above mentioned areas. Third, it may lead to abnormalities in urination and defecation, and if severe, it may lead to complete incontinence of urination and defecation. Fourth, it may cause the patient to develop corresponding disorders of sexual function. For example, men may suffer from impotence, premature ejaculation, or complete loss of sexual function, and women may suffer from sexual frigidity.
