Angiotensin inhibitor antihypertensive drugs are angiotensin II receptor inhibitor (ARB) and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) two categories, the main drugs in the ARB category are candesartan, valsartan, chloretin, timosartan, irbesartan and so on; the main drugs in the ACEI category are captopril, enalapril, perindopril and so on. 1. Angiotensin II receptor inhibitor (ARB): it is through the direct inhibition of angiotensin II receptor of blood vessels, so that the vasodilatation of blood vessels, producing antihypertensive effect. Side effects include hyperkalemia, hepatic impairment, fetal malformation, etc. 2. Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI): It inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme activity, so as to reduce the production of angiotensin II, and produces hypotensive effects. Side effects include irritating dry cough, hyperkalemia, renal impairment, dizziness and so on. Contraindications to the application of angiotensin inhibitors antihypertensive drugs are hypersensitivity to such drugs, bilateral renal artery stenosis, women during pregnancy. Application is recommended under the guidance of a doctor, do not take drugs blindly to avoid accidents.
