What can ct detect?

CT can detect a lot of diseases. If you are a hypertensive patient and look for cerebrovascular disease, CT can detect cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, or brain tumor. If the patient is traumatic, CT can find out whether there is any obvious cerebral contusion, subdural hematoma, epidural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, skull fracture, etc. in the skull. CT of the lungs can detect pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchial foreign bodies, lung tumors, and primary tumors in the mediastinum. CT of abdomen can check whether there are lesions in substantial organs, such as primary tumors of liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidney, metastasis, intestinal tumors, etc. CT can also do vascular examination, such as checking whether there are aneurysms, smoky disease, arteriovenous malformations in the skull, whether there are obvious embolisms in the pulmonary arteries, and entrapment of thoracic and abdominal aorta.
