The General Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army uses the da Vinci robotic surgical system manufactured by Intuitive Surgical, Inc. The new generation “da Vinci S” (da Vinci S) system is based on the original development of the fourth arm, which greatly facilitates the need for exposure during surgery, and can use a wide-angle lens to expand the field of view, which is more convenient for positioning in the chest cavity. The system’s surgical equipment is divided into three main parts: 1) the main console operated by the surgeon; 2) the mobile platform consisting of the robotic arm, camera arm and surgical instruments; and 3) the 3D imaging video imaging platform.
