How to treat tenosynovitis with moxibustion

Tenosynovitis is clinically known as stenosing tenosynovitis. If we take the site of onset in the hand as an example, it often occurs at the root of the thumb, the root of the middle finger, and the outside of the wrist. Moxibustion can treat tenosynovitis, but it is best done with fresh ginger slices. To do this, cut a 1-2mm piece of fresh ginger and find the painful point of tendinitis on the thumb, middle finger or lateral wrist. The painful point should be no more than 1cm in diameter, and after finding the painful point, put the ginger slices on it and then use the lit moxa stick to moxibustion through the ginger slices. Each time the moxibustion time should not be less than 15 minutes, when the ginger slices dried up and then replaced by a second sheet of ginger. Be careful not to burn the skin during this operation, some people will accidentally burn blisters, so it’s a little more than worth it. Its treatment cycle is usually 7-10 days, if the effect is not good, then you can consider doing closed treatment.
