It is common knowledge to most people that exercise not only provides us with a healthy body, but more importantly it has a positive effect on our brain and state of mind, but many people are afraid they do not know that for children, exercise is especially important for brain development. Research has shown that motor skills are closely related to intelligence levels and even creativity – first, increasing children’s exercise will have a positive impact on their level of concentration, memory and classroom performance; second, getting children to move their legs and bodies can enhance their intelligence, creativity, concentration and planning skills; and finally, and actually the most eye-catching point for parents: increasing physical activity appears to improve children’s academic performance, standardized test scores, and even academic credit. This is because exercise affects the brain by creating neural points of contact in the brain that are responsible for “memory” and “executive function,” which help children learn to plan and direct their behavior. In school, children need this part of the brain to control emotions, allocate time for homework, and, of course, complete various types of assignments. Parents immediately ask the question, how much exercise is appropriate? In fact, children need less exercise than parents think. You don’t have to keep your child on the playing field all day, just make sure they have time to exercise every day so they can instantly benefit from a very small amount of exercise. Even for overweight children, just making sure they get at least 40 minutes of aerobic exercise a day can reveal an increase in planning skills (which are actually related to the “executive function” in the brain). For most normal children, many surveys have shown that cognitive improvement requires only 10 minutes of bouncing and high-fiving per day. In conclusion, the brain development of children is very important, and parents should have a good method to make their children’s brain development better, so that their children are smarter and have a good future.
