Chen Guoqiang, director of the neurosurgery center of Aviation General Hospital, said that the effective emergency time for stroke is called the emergency golden time in medicine, and the only way to avoid death or disability of patients is to fight for every second within this time. It is reported that the hospital has established a green channel treatment team consisting of doctors and nurses from the emergency department, neurology center, imaging department and laboratory department, which are on call 24 hours a day. Xing Yan, director of the Department of Neurology, described the emergency green channel created by the hospital with a set of figures: after a patient with cerebrovascular disease is admitted to the hospital, members of the stroke green channel team ensure that the patient is seen and handled within 10 minutes, intravenous access is established within 15 minutes, blood tests and ECG examinations are completed, and head CT is completed within 25 minutes. Coal General Hospital said that the hospital has recently opened a stroke emergency channel. By teaming up with pre-hospital emergency, neurologists and emergency department medical staff, and coordinating with multiple departments, we strive to buy more time for stroke patients in the treatment process. Wang Mingxiao, the president of Coal General Hospital, said that the hospital has improved the in-hospital flow of medical care by joining hands with 120 and 999 emergency services, thus gaining valuable time for the emergency treatment of stroke patients.
