Minimally invasive surgery is usually done for small lung nodules, and recovery usually occurs in about a week to two weeks if the procedure goes well and there are no postoperative complications. Lung nodules appear on imaging as hyperdense, focal, round-like shadows. Common causes include infection, autoimmunity, trauma, and tumors. Lung nodules can be single or multiple. If the lung nodule has a high likelihood of malignancy, surgical resection is required, and the common surgical procedure is minimally invasive surgical treatment. Minimally invasive surgery has smaller surgical incisions, shorter operation time, and relatively shorter anesthesia time, so the postoperative recovery is faster, usually about 1-2 weeks to recover well. However, if the patient has underlying diseases, such as diabetes, the recovery time required after surgery will be extended accordingly.
