Thrombocytopenia is diagnosed by a low peripheral blood platelet count, exclusion of other diseases causing thrombocytopenia and the combination of clinical manifestations.
1. Peripheral platelet count: a peripheral blood platelet count of less than 100×10^9/L is a criterion for the diagnosis of thrombocytopenia.
2. Rule out thrombocytopenia caused by other diseases or drugs: Rule out other causes of thrombocytopenia, such as aplastic anemia, acute leukemia, radiation sickness, immune thrombocytopenia hypersplenism and bone marrow tumor cell infiltration, etc., as well as rule out the use of non-anti-tumor drugs, such as sulfonamides, that can cause thrombocytopenia.
3. Clinical manifestations: with or without hemorrhagic tendency, such as skin bleeding spots, petechiae or unexplained bleeding and other manifestations, or even serious organ tissue bleeding.
Should go to the hospital for specific examination, under the guidance of physicians to clarify the diagnosis, so as not to delay the condition.
