How sperm are produced

Sperm are generally produced by the tissues of the testes, and are produced by the fine tubules and other tissues, then stored in the epididymis and then matured. When a large amount of semen is ejaculated out of the body and into the vagina of a woman, it is combined with an egg to form a fertilized egg and then an embryo to produce the next generation, a process generally known as fertilization. In order to conceive, a combination of factors is required, the woman needs to be ovulating and the man’s sperm must be of good quality in order to produce a fertilized egg.
