According to the temple pain can be divided into physiological and pathological. Physiological may be related to often stay up late, poor lifestyle. Pathological may be related to tension headache, trauma and so on. If physiological factors are excluded, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in a timely manner to clarify the cause of the disease. 1. Physiological: patients often stay up late, irregular routine, resulting in lack of sleep, poor mental state. The symptoms of temple pain may occur. 2. Pathologic (1) Tension-type headache: when the patient suffers from tension-type headache, there will be a feeling of heavy pressure or a feeling of wearing a hat. When pressing the temples, the symptoms of pain may occur. When the patient’s pain is severe, oral medications such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen can be taken to relieve the pain. (2) Trauma: Pain when pressing the temples occurs when the temples are traumatized resulting in swelling, bruising, hematoma, and other conditions. It may also be associated with migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, brain tumors, and so on. Continuous occurrence of temple headache, patients are advised to go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease. If medication is needed, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
