Tianma is beneficial to the elderly for the treatment of numbness of the limbs, hand and foot weakness, and rheumatism paralysis.
Tianma is a traditional Chinese medicine with a sweet flavor, flat nature and belongs to the liver meridian. It is effective in restraining wind and stopping spasm, dispelling wind and clearing channels (removing wind evil and clearing the channels) and so on. It is useful for the elderly or other people in the treatment of internal movement of liver wind, dizziness, numbness of the limbs, hand and foot paralysis, and rheumatism paralysis.
Adverse effects of Tianma include allergic reactions and poisoning. It should be noted that, it is contraindicated to be used in combination with Royal Fungus Root; pregnant women should be cautious in using it; it is not suitable to be taken as a single medicine by those who have internal movement of liver wind or hyperactivity of liver yang (liver yang is over-exuberant, which causes dizziness, dizziness and headache); it is not suitable to be taken as a single medicine by those who are deficient in both qi and blood.
