There is no effective drug treatment for atrophic gastritis itself, but mainly symptomatic treatment. Most patients with this disease are asymptomatic and do not require specific treatment. If patients have H. pylori infection they need to receive bactericidal treatment, and other commonly used drugs include gastric mucosal protectors, H2 receptor blockers, and pro-gastric motivators. Diet is an important treatment for atrophic gastritis, food should be diversified, avoid partial diet, pay attention to supplement a variety of nutrients; do not eat moldy food; eat less smoked, pickled, nitrate and nitrite rich food, eat more fresh food; avoid too rough, strong, spicy food and a lot of long-term alcohol consumption, smoking; in addition, to maintain a good mental state and adequate sleep. Therefore, for patients with atrophic gastritis, we must pay attention to the regulation of diet, asymptomatic patients do not need special treatment, and those with symptoms should be under the guidance of doctors to regulate the use of drugs.
