Cephalosporin Allergy Rash

Cephalosporin allergy rash belongs to the symptoms of drug dermatitis, which can be treated by general treatment, oral and topical medication and intravenous drip.
1. General treatment: stop using cephalosporins immediately, and then avoid using the drug or drugs similar to its structure to avoid aggravating the symptoms. Drink plenty of water to accelerate the excretion of drugs.
2. Oral medication: mild drug rash can be oral antihistamine drugs such as olopatadine hydrochloride tablets and epinastine hydrochloride capsules for anti-allergy treatment, or short-term oral glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone in small doses.
3. Topical medication: Glucocorticosteroids such as mometasone furoate and dexamethasone can be used externally on wounds without obvious exudation. With oozing need to be used externally boric acid solution wet compresses.
4. Intravenous drip: when the symptoms are serious or the lesions are generalized, adequate amount of glucocorticosteroid should be given to the intravenous drip treatment at an early stage, such as methylprednisolone, and gradually reduce the amount after the lesions subside, and change to oral preparation.
The use of drugs should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor, found that the drug allergy should be immediately stopped and go to the hospital in time for treatment, so as to avoid aggravation of the condition.
