Post-exposure prophylaxis after accidental exposure to hepatitis B

1.Serologic testing: HBV DNA, hepatitis B V, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) should be tested immediately and reviewed in 3 and 6 months. 2.Active and passive immunization: If you have been vaccinated against hepatitis B and are known to be positive for anti-HBs, you may not undergo special treatment. If the patient has not received hepatitis B vaccine, or has received hepatitis B vaccine but anti-HBs <10 IU/L or anti-HBs level is not known, the patient should be injected with HBIG 200~400 IU immediately, and at the same time, the patient should receive 1 shot of hepatitis B vaccine (20 mg) in different parts of the body, and then receive the second and the third shots of hepatitis B vaccine (20 mg each) at 1 month and 6 months later respectively.
