Patient: Description of the condition (onset time, main symptoms, hospital visited, etc.): In early 2010, abdominal pain was treated as acute peritonitis, and three months later, it was transferred to the Second Hospital of Jilin University for treatment, where it was diagnosed as small intestinal mesenchymal tumor. History:After separating the adhesions, a 7cm diameter jejunal tumor was seen at about 60cm of the ligament, originating from the wall of small intestine, lobulated, dark red in color, adhering to the surrounding tissues, with the envelope intact, and a partial resection of jejunal mass and jejunum was performed. The pathological diagnosis was: gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor, supplemented by small intestinal mesenchymal tumor (7 CM in diameter, nuclear schizophrenia less than 5/5 0 HPF, moderate risk). No lesions were seen in the large network. Immunohistochemical staining results: CD117 (+), DOG-1 (+), SMA (-), CD34 (+), Desin (-),Ki67( 1% positive rate), NSE (+), S-100 (-). I have heard that this tumor is highly recurrent, but I don’t know if it is right. I am not sure if I am right or not, but do I need other post-operative adjuvant preventive treatment for my tumor and its condition?
