Ovarian surgery needs to be treated symptomatically according to different conditions. In case of ovarian cysts, ultrasound examination is needed to confirm the nature of the cysts. If it can be determined that the cysts are benign and relatively small, less than 5 cm, conservative treatment is generally used; if the cysts are larger than 5 cm and symptoms such as abdominal pain occur, surgical treatment can be performed. Minimally invasive surgery can be performed using laparoscopy for benign cysts. Minimally invasive surgery is generally less traumatic, with less bleeding, faster recovery and fewer complications, and the wound heals faster, and the wound can basically heal in a week or so, and the patient can resume normal life. If the cyst belongs to malignant tumor, further examination such as CT, MRI and tumor markers are needed. Depending on the condition of the tumor, laparotomy or laparoscopic treatment is adopted, and chemotherapy or radiotherapy may also be needed after the surgery, which are helpful for the treatment of the tumor.
