Pain on both sides of the heel may be caused by physiological factors such as overwork, or it may be caused by tendonitis, traumatic arthritis, heel bone deformity and other reasons.
1. Physiological factors: due to walking too much or heavy load, can lead to overworked feet, local muscles produce too many metabolic products, lactic acid accumulation, can cause symptoms of soft tissue pain around the heel.
2. Tendonitis: prolonged weight-bearing walking or strenuous exercise may lead to aseptic inflammation of the local tendons on both sides of the heel, resulting in localized tendonitis, which may cause obvious pain symptoms and aggravation of pain when pressed.
3. Traumatic arthritis: when the heel is subjected to external violence, resulting in cartilage damage of the ankle joint, traumatic arthritis can gradually form. When the patient walks, due to inflammation stimulation, obvious pain symptoms will appear on both sides of the heel.
4. Heel deformity: congenital developmental abnormality or traumatic injury later in life may lead to heel deformity, resulting in symptoms of pain on both sides of the heel.
There may be other causes of pain on both sides of the heel, if the rest can not be relieved in time, it is recommended that the patient consult a doctor in time to clarify the cause of the disease and then standardized treatment.
