What to do about lymphogranuloma

Lymphogranuloma requires prompt antibiotic treatment and the use of potassium permanganate sitz baths to clean the lesions, and puncture to attract pus if necessary.
Lymphogranuloma belongs to one of the sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), caused by Chlamydia trachomatis infection, which is mostly transmitted through sexual intercourse and occurs in the inguinal lymph node tissues, external genitalia, anus and other places.
Treatment requires the use of antimicrobial drugs, commonly used erythromycin, tetracycline, etc., and in advanced and more severe cases, it can be combined with glucocorticosteroids, such as hydrocortisone, to enhance the efficacy of treatment.
Use the appropriate concentration of potassium permanganate solution sitz bath, wash the lesion, keep clean and hygienic, if accompanied by pus, you can apply erythromycin ointment and so on.
If the lymph nodes are tender with pus formation, puncture is needed to drain the pus and then inject sulfonamide solution.
Lymphogranuloma needs to be treated as early as possible, and all the above drugs should be used according to the doctor’s instructions.
