Age range for quadrivalent and nine-valent

Quadrivalent is an abbreviation that generally refers to the quadrivalent HPV vaccine, which is currently available domestically for ages 9-45. Nine-valent is the abbreviation of nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine, currently applicable to the age of 16-26 years old in China. The quadrivalent cervical cancer vaccine mainly prevents HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18, and can effectively prevent warts or cervical cancer caused by human papillomavirus infection, and the vaccination cannot replace routine cervical cancer screening. The vaccine is generally not recommended for women over 45 years of age because the cervical cancer vaccine is less effective in producing immunity. The nine-valent vaccine mainly prevents HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58, and the vaccination is given at 0, 2, and 6 months. Adverse reactions such as headache, swelling and erythema may occur after vaccination, which can usually be gradually relieved after stopping the injection. Pregnant women should avoid this vaccine, and breastfeeding women should use this vaccine with caution. People who are allergic to this drug or ingredients in the formula, or who have symptoms of hypersensitivity reaction after the first injection of the vaccine are prohibited from using this vaccine. Stay for 30 minutes after vaccination before leaving the injection facility on your own, go to the hospital for regular checkups, and pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva in general, wash it every day, and maintain good hygiene.
